The Greatest Gift

Missionaries serving on the frontlines in Asia this year received some great gifts to help them in their ministry. Bicycles were provided for many of them to further reach into new villages and places where there is no gospel presence. Such gifts go a long way towards advancing the kingdom of God. When you give to The Glory Project, you give towards helping people receive the greatest gift of all, salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

Glory Project missionaries serve in many countries, regions, and contexts that require different languages and gospel expressions. The truth they share though remains the same: the truth of Jesus Christ who came to bear the sins of the world on the cross so that all who believe would not be condemned but receive the gift of eternal life (Rom. 6:23). As you open your Christmas presents, shop for them, and continue in your Christmas traditions, remember that the greatest gift of all is Jesus Christ. And as you consider this, be encouraged with the following….

Jesus is an incredible gift! Missionaries get the privilege of carrying that gift to the world. Ministry can be likened to the box and wrapping paper and bow. The size and style of wrapping paper and boxes can vary from ministry to ministry, but missionaries everywhere are all trying to deliver the same gift. Never lose sight of the fact that the box (a way of doing ministry) is not as valuable as the gift (Jesus). The only reason missionaries exist is to deliver the gift. They have dedicated their lives to the gift, and will wrap and share the gift in whatever way is effective towards advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ among the unreached.

God bless and Merry Christmas!
