Kuki Chin Christian Group
On Thursday 09/28/23, the Indian government enforced a curfew in the capital of Manipur state because of continued conflict between the Meitie Hindu group and the Kuki Chin Christian group. Persecution against the Kuki Christians has increased since violence broke out in May this year. The Meitie have burned over 120 churches, and murdered innocent victims causing more and more Christians to flee into refugees camps or the jungle.
